ELD Coaches Team.

English Language Development (ELD) Coaches directly support newcomer, refugee, and/or new to-country immigrant students at our International Centers. 
 

• ELD Coaches provide supplemental support building on foundational literacy skills taught in the core designated ELD course for the new arrival, refugee, and immigrant students, in-class differentiated and highly scaffolded support to access core content, attendance outreach support, tutoring, and intervention support.  
   

• ELD Coaches may also provide job-embedded coaching with formative data collection and analysis, lesson planning with embedded scaffolds and support for newcomer and  Immigrant students, lesson modeling and implications to inform next steps.  
   

• Professional Development designed specifically for teachers and paraprofessionals of  newcomers, under schooled students, immigrant ELs, and ELD Coaches.
