San Diego Unified receives immigrant students from around the world, with over 75 languages spoken across the district. The Multilingual Education Department provides support for all students and families in our schools that have recently arrived to the U.S.
Newcomer Welcome Center
The Newcomer Welcome Center is committed to compassionately guiding students and families in their educational journeys and connecting them to people, programs, and resources necessary for lifelong success. We strive to ensure that everyone feels a deep sense of belonging, develops the skills and confidence to achieve personal fulfillment, and is empowered to contribute to the vibrancy of our community.

Tuesday - San Diego High School
Wednesday- Any Site by Appointment
Thursday - Lincoln High School
Friday - Crawford High School
Transportation available if needed
